Fishing ideas

Our minds are full of thoughts, millions of them. Some of them we realize but many are hidden deep within inside. Its more like we are not ready to look into those ideas consciously. Or to talk in software terms, we dont make them the active selection. They lye down in the background silently influencing our day to day lives.

To some extent we can say our subconscious mind is like a huge ocean, its undelved untouched we see what happens on the surface, we see strong tides or even storms at times. But thoughts like fishes are moving rapidly beneath the surface. Many of these thoughts are actually brilliant ideas, ideas that our brain has created out of the millions of things we throw in our subconscious sea. But very rarely do we sit and fish for those ideas.
Its only when we sit relax and fish from our conscious real world outside the deep oceanlike subconscious we realize the wealth beneath.
Delving too much into the subconscious would just like a sea submerge us...and perhaps take us away from our external conscious world. While swimming in our subconscious for some time, say like we do when we sleep, there is a different perspective over things we see. Even our conscious world looks way different from the lens of the subconscious deep within.

Fishing for brilliant ideas needs focus and patience with the subconscious. Our subconscious would never stop making ideas...but we need to realize what ideas to pick. Also at times we are too busy in our conscious worlds that the subconscious becomes just another object of the conscious. We neglect it, and dont want to accept that it ends up affecting our conscious world. These brilliant ideas that live beneath also have a time period. Sometimes they live for long, perhaps so long, that when each night we delve into it, we are constantly reminded of its presence. At times those ideas grow so large within the subconscious that they tend to be easily perceived from our conscious land. But it is only when these ideas are brought out of the subconscios is when they make a difference to our lives. They enrich our lives with a new thought process, a new way of doing things. Perhaps thats why every now and then we need to fish...fish for ideas. We may not be experts at it in the beginning, but the very belief that there is an idea out there deep within that can make an impact.

When was the last time you went for fishing?
