Breakfast for the brain

Its early morning and you start your day by cleaning your self, rushing towards feeding yourself....feeding food...but at the same time your brain is also hungry, what do we feed our brains? Research says that early morning is the best time for a person grasp in information to remember and understand it, during the silent times of the night we do have our brains working, but in a very free manner. But as soon as we get up, our brains a kinds of open doors to things. Remember the exam times when our parents used to wake us up to revise things early in the morning. But over time what has happened is that most of us feed our bodies with amazing breakfast with variety, most of us focussed towards healthy breakfast and healthy exercise....but what about the brain? What do we feed our brains? Lets make a list, there is the morning news paper which has traditionally got into the cycle of morning brain feed, off late our social network updates and email checks are into the zone. If y...

Fishing ideas

Our minds are full of thoughts, millions of them. Some of them we realize but many are hidden deep within inside. Its more like we are not ready to look into those ideas consciously. Or to talk in software terms, we dont make them the active selection. They lye down in the background silently influencing our day to day lives. To some extent we can say our subconscious mind is like a huge ocean, its undelved untouched we see what happens on the surface, we see strong tides or even storms at times. But thoughts like fishes are moving rapidly beneath the surface. Many of these thoughts are actually brilliant ideas, ideas that our brain has created out of the millions of things we throw in our subconscious sea. But very rarely do we sit and fish for those ideas. Its only when we sit relax and fish from our conscious real world outside the deep oceanlike subconscious we realize the wealth beneath. Delving too much into the subconscious would just like a sea submerge us...and perhaps ta...
