Criticizers == Designers????

As designers many of us start having a savvy attitude of criticism.
I know this is a sensitive topic, and I do not wish to find where and how we get it. But somewhere down the mindset we do feel that everything that we ever see be it a product or a service we tend to want to criticize the existing.

Of course it’s a part of our job to find mistakes or to find the problems to solve them. However I think that many of us incline ourselves to the first part (find problems) more and second part( solve them) less.
Of whatever design knowledge and experience I have till now I think that what needs to be seen is the latter part of solving problems in environments.
An intellectual brain will argue with me that to solve problem we need to identify them. This is also what I would agree that it is not an easy task to identify a problem too considering that problems that are seen may or may not be the real problems. Those who understand systems theory know that the core problems can be anywhere in the system. So identifying problem is needed.
But rising above criticism there also needs a change of attitude to solve problems.
This way I would say that the term of finding opportunities in a given situation and showing the effects of the same are the greatest challenges designers should retain.
We need to be better human beings instead of trying to be gods. Perfection is a fallacy and so is design; however what needs to be understood is that the attitude to help a human by giving ur services of design is the greatest any human can do.
As designers we have the observation skills to perceive lots of things.
What needs is the attitude not to be the god by saying “ kya ghatiya cheez hai” or “ this is not great, I have seen better”. But to see it that in the given situation what can u contribute and if it is bad find the reasons why exactly it is.
So next time u say “yuk!!!!” try to think of making that yuk urself and see the magic.
